1. Don't be a dick.
I have a low tolerance for stupid forum shit after surfing Something Awful for a good while. While I won't ban people for misspelling words and things like that, I will ban you if you're an annoying douchebag. Which leads to my next point.
2. Contribute to the topic
Try and post something that contributes to the topic in a meaningful way. If not, don't bother posting (if it's a funny post or OP, I'll let this slide).
3. No Soliciting
Contact one of the admins/mods before posting something you want to advertise, be it a personal blog, friend's fleet website, or anything else like that. Otherwise, it'll be deleted.
4. No Porn in non-porn threads
Keep that shit in a separate forum and out of the general fleet discussions. If we start to get complaints from posters about the porn threads though, they will be deleted immediately and this one will change to "no porn threads."
In general, just contribute to the community in a useful fashion and you'll be good to go. The community is only as good as what its members contribute (and what the admins/mods allow and don't allow), so keep it awesome.
